Cheap battery
Vaping batteries are safe when you used correctly. They are a few handy tips that all vaper needs to follow to ensure a safety vape experience.
Vaping batteries can be categorized into automatic or manual type.
Automatic battery
When you inhale on an e-cigarette with an automatic battery, a sensor detects the rush of the air and activates the battery. It is easier to use and closely resembles a regular cigarette.
Manual battery
Manual batteries activate when you depress a button, giving you more control over your vaping experience. It usually has more power, offering more vapour and a better ‘throat hit’.
18650 Batteries Mods
Many variable wattage mods have in-built batteries as part of their design. However, for some devices you need to purchase a battery or batteries separately to the device. There are many sizes available (including 21700, 18350, 22650 and many others), but 18650 batteries are the most commonly used ones in vaping devices.
Variable voltage / wattage batteries and mods
The advantages of being able to variable voltage and wattage in your ecig battery are to optimize the atomiser, get different notes in e-liquids and find your personal preference regarding vapour and ‘throat hit’.
Battery capacity vs. Battery voltage
One of the things that confuses many new vapers is the difference between battery capacity and voltage or wattage.
Battery capacity is a measure of “battery life” on a single charge. The capacity on electronic cigarette batteries is normally measured in milliamp hours (mAh). The higher the mAh rating, the higher the capacity of the battery and the longer it will last between charges.
The voltage essentially tells you how much current the battery can send out to your coil. For the same resistance, a higher voltage will send more current (and more watts) to your coil and it will produce more vapour as a result.
